Meditation Remedies

Meditation Remedies

‘Vastu Meditation’ primarily establishes equilibrium among various energy currents and tries to earn favour from them.

What is energy?

This is virtually the element on which is based the entire existence. Where water flows, fire ignites, clouds fly, and trees continue to grow, that all reflects the element energy.
Our physical body, and all activities emanating from it are the result of that energy. Wherever that energy is present, life takes its shape. We all know that the energy can be transformed from one form to the other. The electrical energy makes us cool through Air Conditioners and warms the atmosphere through room heater. The same energy creates light through bulb, creates sound through radio and makes a thing audible and visible through a TV set.

It is a common belief that this body and its activities are all due to efforts made by us. But you should be clear in your mind that various elements and factors together contribute not only towards its formation but also influence the actions taken by it. Solar rays are helpful in our development, and blowing air provides us Pran-Vayu. The emptiness of sky makes us feel that we may develop the same hollowness within us. Likewise, other elements such as water and earth are also our constituent parts. Establishing a balance among various elements brings stability and strength to our individual existence.

When the whole existence is contributing towards our being, then why should we confine our energy to ourselves? Why our individual energy should not be allowed to merge in the whole existential energy?

One of the objectives of meditation is also that the energy which remains confined within the physical body or which is found around the body, could establish a chord  with the existence. Please do not think that only the energy within our body gets activated when we meditate. In fact, when we breathe in, various segments of air present in the environment try to come in contact with us. The warmth of our body and heat of our digestive system join solar rays. The water content present in our blood gets associated with the water content of the existence. Therefore, you are requested to expand yourself into Eternity.

We will absolve ourselves in the five elements of the existence. Vastu tells us easy way to establish harmony with the five elements of nature. By doing so we are able to create a favourable atmosphere where we could rest. The houses built according to Vastu not only save us from the vagaries of nature but by inhabiting in them we experience peace, pleasure and happiness and an atmosphere that is beneficial to us in all respect.

Vastu does not denote only a balance between construction and physically visible articles but also directs minute (lw{e) energy aura as also its emission. A living creature also affects the cluster of action-reaction occurring between his existence and everything existing around him which is related to him, at this or that level. It is Vastu which defines external and internal energy flow of the living or non-living entities.

Leaving indelible impression on our lives this subject is directly related to our physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical desire. Vastu is a complete and comprehensive science. To understand this science we will have to understand cosmic energy as well as spiritual energy around us. We will have to learn the art of communicating with the materialistic world that otherwise appears to be non-living.

Now remembering the deity, or Guru of your faith and belief, presume that He his showering his blessings on you. Then as is prerequisite for all meditation techniques, make your mind positive and receptive. Repeat at least 20 times: ” I will keep my mind open and be witness to it as a Drishta. And I will trust my inner consciousness, also. I surrender all my negative feelings to the Almighty, forgive myself and everyone else. Now I am completely ready for any miracle to happen in my life.

The Aura

A living or a non-living creature has an energy field of his own which is known as Aura. Most of us might have experienced it. The Aura is just like a cloud of energy that is found around a person, though it is invisible from the naked eyes. Everything is constituted of a mass of atoms which are surrounded by a field of energy. Electron and protons are collectively active around atoms generating electrical and magnetic energy rays. The atoms of a living being are more active, that is why their aura is a bigger one. The Aura of human being occurs in three shapes and is in oval shape drawing its roots from the physical body. Generally its size ranges from 8 to 10 ft.

This Aura tries to come in contact with the Aura of others. And in this way, a flow of energy takes place. In whatever situation we enter, the Aura of that very place begins to communicate with our own Aura, which ultimately gives us the feeling of peace or irritation.

Indian spiritual traditions over 5000 years old tell us of a Universal energy a vital source of all life forms as an dividual field which is percieved as a luminous body surrounding and integrated with the physical body of each living being including plants and animals with the spiritual plane where all energy and creation originate. Only the seers and few clairvoyants were able to read all seven layers of a person’s Aura. Our Ancient Hindu Vedic texts and other esoteric teachings have described the electromagnetic fields and subatomic physics seen as Aura as an energy field surrounding the human body. The Rig Veda says that the Agni brings all Devas i.e. natural forces in the Yajna which means that all natural forces like gravitation, electromagnetism thermic energy, etc. come into play at the instance of Agni which thus represents the unified force field.

The Aggregation of matter in the form of elementary particles and Atoms and their motion produces the vast Yajna in the form of the great creation. The main elementary particles and atoms taking part in the process are Mitra, the electrion and Varuna, the proton and their combination Mitra-Varuna, the hydrogen Atom. The interplay of Electromagnetic and gravational forces produces thermic energy with the emission of electromagnetic radiation from it. The Rig Veda reveals further that the elementary particles and atoms first come closer on account of electrical attraction and produce a thermic energy. Thereafter, gravitational forces enhance this process and produce light and electromagnetic radiation.

A confirmation of the truth that the main strength of God Vishnu (the preserver and sustainer of the entire universe and mythically the wielder of the Sudarshana chakra which symbolises rotary motion) rotates the energy like a big wheel. Bythis great strong rotary motion and centrifugal force the three kind of Aura were ejected i.e. with low high and medium brightness. By this cosmic electromagnetic Aura our body is effected.

In the Kurma Purana there is an interesting passage relating to the seven colours while describing the Bhuvankosa – The rays that compose His body are omnipresent and illumine the limitless worlds in the Universe and among the highest because they form the matrices of the seven planets (K.P. 43 VI – 2). The rays do the work ofcreation maintenance and destruction of the Universe as the cosmic Mind Wills and as Time is mature.

In the Holy Bible (Genesis IX 13) it is said about the seven colours “I do set my bow in the cloud and it shall be for a token of a covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth”.

concerns.

The ancient Chinese referred to it as Ch’i and believed that all matter whether animate or inanimate was composed of the universe energy. In all the religious painting portraying halos around the head of Gods, goddesses Christ and the saints indicate that the powerful spiritual energy of these people was actually visible and more people are interested in exploring the human Aura to understand the true source of emotional and physical imbalances which often lead to diseases.

The Aura a field of energy that surrounds people and other living things, reflects the energy of the spirit in that body. Commonly called the etheric field this energy etends about two to four inches around the body and usually a light or pastel shade. Layering the etheric is the aura which contains every colour and shade in the rainbow and usually extends 2-5 inches from the body. Its colours, textures and patterns reveal much information about physical, emotional, mental and spiritual states. An Aura is like a thumbprint. It is completely individual and expresses who you really are in all your splendour. As has already been said, we have to look for the origin of everything to the cosmic colours.

The Punch Mahabhutas are the five great elements i.e. Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether are nothing but condensation of cosmic colours. Earth is a condensation of green colour water of Orange and Indigo. Fire is red and yellow, Air of violet while Ether is the condensed form of blue.

Again we see the Sight is caused by the Red cosmic colour. Smell by Green, Touch by violet, Sound by Blue and Taste by Orange. Besides these five colours bodily heat is caused by Yellow and Indigo maintains bodily cold.

Thus the sense organs are related to the seven colours –

Eyes show Red cosmic colour
Skin shows Violet cosmic colour
Nose Tip shows Green cosmic colour
Tongue shows Orange cosmic colour and
Cavities including ears show Blue cosmic colour

Likewise five Vayus known as Pran, Apan, Saman, Udan and Vyan also originate from seven colours. Pran Vayu originates from the Earth element and therefore from the cosmic Green colour. Apan Vayu originates from water element and therefore originates from Orange and Indigo. Saman Vayu as originates from Agni element hence forms from Yellow and Red. Udan Vayu as originates from Vayu elements forms from Violet and lastly Vyan Vayu as originates from Ether element hence forms from Blue cosmic colour.

The Tridosa of Ayurveda as also its origin in cosmic colours. Vayu Dosa combinations Air and Ether elements and it therefore originates from the cosmic colours Blue and Violet. Pita Dosa originates from Fire element hence it originates from ellow and Red cosmic colours. Kafa Dosa is a combination of Water and Earth Elements hence originates from Orange – Indigo and Green cosmic colours.

Thus it broadly shows the importance of cosmic colours which are enveloped on our body around us called Aura. The rays of Aura play an important role in our lives. We are born in these rays, we live and thrive in these rayes and we die in these very rays. Hence when we talk about Aura we mean the eistence of living being.
The Aura colours, configurations and movement patterns convey signals and images that communicate the person’s problems or state of being. The “Auric Body” is composed of seven layers the three of these layers the Mental, the Emotional and Etheric body connect us with the physical plane of reality on which we enact the drama of our mortal lives. A fourth layer, the Astral body connects us with the Astral plane of reality which could be viewed as the hallway between the physical plane and the spiritual plane. The last three layers the Etheric template the celestial body and the Ketheric body connect us with the Great natural force i.e. the God.

Many people erroneously assume that the aura is like an onion, where you can peel away consecutive layers. It is not.

The structured layers contain all the forms that the physical body has, including internal organs, blood vessels etc., and additional forms that the physical body does not contain. There is a vertical flow of energy that pulsates up and down the filed in the spinal cord. It extends out beyond the physical body above the head and below the coccyx. I call this the main vertical power current. There are swirling cone-shaped vortexes called charkas in the field. Their tips point into the main vertical power current , and their open ends extend to the edge of the each layer of the field they are located in.

The Seven Layers and the Seven Chakras of the Auric Fields

Each layer appears different and has its own particular function. Each layer of the aura is associated with a chakra. The first layer of the field and the first charkas are associated with physical functioning and physical sensation-feeling physical pain are pleasure. The first layer is associated with automatic and automatic functioning of the body. The second layer and second chakra are in general associated with the emotional aspect of human beings. They are the vehicles through which we have our emotional life and feeling. The third layer is associated with our mental life, with linear thinking. The third chakra is associated with linear thinking. The fourth level associated with heart chakra, is the vehicle through which we love, not only our mates, but also humanity in general. The fourth chakra is the chakra that metabolizes the energy of love. The fifth level is the level associated with a higher will more connected with the divine will. The fifth chakra is associated with the power of the world, speaking things into being, listening and taking responsibility for our actions. The sixth level and sixth chakra are associated celestial love. It is a love that extends beyond the human range of love and caring and encompasses all life. It makes the statement of caring and support for the protection and nurturing of all life. It holds all life forms as precious manifestations of god. The seventh layer seventh chakras are associated with the higher mind, knowing and integration of our spiritual and physical makeup.

Thus there are specific locations within our energy system for the sensations, emotions, thoughts, memories and other nonphysical experiences that we report to our doctor and therapists.

Understanding how our physical symptoms are related to these locations will help us understanding the nature of different illness and also the nature of both health and disease. Thus the study of the aura can be a bridge between traditional medicine and our psychological concerns.
