The International Society for Spiritual Sciences (ISSS) owns approximately eighty thousand square feet of land within the village of Kuthar. A small portion of this land has a very ancient temple of MAA BHAIRAVI BHAWANI, built by some unknown saints. The locals believe that the deity of this temple is ‘jagruth’ (alive or rather, attentive to the prayers of her devotees). The deity is ‘swayambhu’ which means it emerged from the ground on its own.
The temple is a ‘Siddhpeeth’ and an axiomatic place for the fulfillment of aspirations.
The ashram temple forms a triangle of power in this holy land. The other two temples are Neelkanth Mahadev and Bhuvaneshwari Devi Mata.
